FLASHBACK - Destination Restaurant

Gainesville, Florida is a town that breathes out history, old memories, and nostalgia. However, the student community is missing that special feeling since they are currently living in a time that the strong alumni community is reflecting on. Flashback is a barcade that appeals to college-aged students. Taking on the abstract form of a deformed Rubik’s cube, this destination restaurant in Celebration Pointe creates an immersive, nostalgic experience. Rejuvenating their youth, the timeless barcade is filled with old gadgets and stimulants that allow the audience to reminisce a time that was stress-free and reflect on old memories while creating new ones.
